Seller's Description
The time has come to move on my Town & Country. I am the second owner of this beautifully presented ute. My reason for selling I have to make room for an inherited 1962 SV1 that my great grandfather purchased from new. For sale this 1974 VJ Valiant Town & Country. E33, D32, A77, B51, V10 coded car. With a healthy hemi 265 and BW35 column shift auto. This is an all original matching numbers car not a clone. The car presents very well with very minor rust just behind the rear screen in one spot (Floors, plenem, firewall, tray all exellent) Exterior is very good with only minor battle scars for 51 years of service. Interior very good with one very small repairable tear on the drivers seat. The tray in excellent condition with just a couple of minor dings on the tubs. Everything works as it should except temp gauge (could be the sender) and the left bonnet support spring is detached, still there just unclipped. I recently rebuilt the cooling system with new 3 core on the original tanks, new pump, thermo and housing, belt, hoses & Proflow filter. Transmission has recently had a minor service. Brakes have been done with new master cyclinder, brake cyclinders, hoses etc as required. Currently rolling on period correct ROH jelly beans with new tyres fitted (5) original steel wheels, lug nuts, hub caps, dress rims (5) included in the sale. Original NSW number plates for anyone wishing to go back to full rego. Currently on club so will be sold unregistered. Only 33 Valiants built in this model combo. Only 5 with identical build specifications. Many utes have not survived the test of time and it is becoming more difficult to find good original ones. These Town and Country's are reported to be some of the rarest utes in Australia. This ute will not disappoint. Call or text for more in info. If i do not answer I will respond ASAP so please leave a message or text me.
