Their remarkable career spanned more than a decade and brought with it a successful comedy hour. Sonny Bono went on to political success by becoming the Mayor of Palm Springs, California and then taking a seat in the U.S. Congress.
After 11 years of ownership, the Porsche was passed on to Sonny's second wife, Susie Cohelo. ______________________
This Carrera runs strong and smooth. The car features the 911S engine, but it also has larger rear tires and wheels. 'Auto's Porsche of Venice and Beverly Hills' rebuilt the horizontally opposed, overhead cam six-cylinder engine in June of 2002. At his time, this Carrera was fitted with a 'Whale Tail' spoiler along with a deeper front spoiler.
