With documentation of all receipts/history since its purchase by the aforementioned owner in early 1989, this Triumph had a full restoration with the entire body stripped to bare metal, then professionally painted in Two-Pack Burgundy. All components were either renewed/refurbished or replaced including the re-chroming of every chrome part and refurbishment of all woodwork, the upholstery was re-trimmed in Connolly Leather and a new Mohair soft top was fitted. On completion of the restoration, this Stag won not only the “Best in Class” at the Triumph Concours, but also the “Best in Show” award, and continued to win for years following.
