Top 60 Summernats and Motorex Street Elite entrant! Engineered genuine 1975 Holden G-Pak Torana in Jamaica Lime. Huge no expense spared 5 year full nut and bolt restoration commencing in 2010. Completely stripped to a bare shell and sand blasted in preparation for fabrication. The rear end was tubbed to fit 20x12" wheels and has a fabricated full floater 9 inch with Tru Trac centre, 31 spline axles and a McDonald Bros triangular 4 link with QA1 coil overs and chassis connectors. The front end has adjustable tubular arms and QA1 coil over shocks and A9X steering arms.Engine is a Holden VT roller block, 383 crank, 12:1 compression, Yella Terra - 9 aluminium heads, Harrop manifold, ASR sump, CVR electric water pump, HP Ultra carby that made 620hp on the engine dyno. Custom headers were made, going to a twin 3 inch system with twin Magnaflow mufflers. (Comes with tail pipes which can be bolted from the diff back to quieten it down).Transmission is a fully manualised Trimatic with 5,200 rpm TCE hi stall converter and PWR trans cooler.Body has had countless hours put into it, gutter moulds have been shaved, a 4 inch reverse cowl hood fitted and front guards have been modified to allow the 19x7" front wheels to turn full lock. The paint is 2 Pack clear over base in the factory Jamaica Lime that was flow coated with the factory G-Pak stripes ghosted into the paint for the subtle touch (look closely or you'll miss them).The interior looks factory, with the added comfort of VZ SS front bucket seats. Rear seat were modified to suit the wheel tubs. The seats are wrapped in leather with grey golf ball inserts. The dash fascia has been repainted, with a new crash pad, steering wheel and Autometer gauges fitted. Factory console has been modified to suit the B&M Quicksilver shifter. There is also a bolt in 6 point roll cage that comes with the car.The boot houses a 57 litre fuel cell with brand new in-tank pumps and a new Optima deep cycle battery. The engine bay has hidden wiring throughout and is dressed up with polished billet bonnet hinges, alternator bracket and chassis plugs and race radiator with Spal thermo fans.All of the wiring was redone from front to back and the MSD 6AL ignition box fitted under the dash. Wheels are Intro Hauler Billet, 20x12 rear (345 tyre) and 19x7 front.Brakes are 8 pot fronts with 356 mm rotors and rears are 4 pot with 330 mm rotors. It has a Wilwood master cylinder fitted with braided hoses / stainless steel lines bolted to an A9X dual diaphragm brake booster.The car has only traveled 6,000km since being built in 2015. It has won multiple awards, made TOP 60 twice at Summernats and won 2nd place for 'Elite Body' at Summernats 29. It drives exceptionally well with loads of torque and great throttle response, sounds cranky, but still behaves on the street like a good street car should.No expense has been spared. The owner has thrown major dollars into this car with only top quality parts used in the build.The workmanship that has gone into it is second to none.
