This 1976 LX Torana SL/R sedan is part of a collection. It is a genuine SL/R but it has been modified extensively with a 308 Holden V8 engine in place of the original 253 Holden V8. Manufactured in the Melbourne plant this was produced with a Tri-matic 3 speed automatic and a Banyo differential. The differential has been swapped out with a shortened Ford 9 inch. The original paint colour was Aquarius but the vehicle has been resprayed in a burgundy metallic. The entire vehicle has had a custom retrim many years ago. The body appears to be in reasonable condition with no obvious rust noted. This Torana is consigned with us and located in Bundall on the Gold Coast. The photos are current and indicate the cosmetic condition of the vehicle. This Aussie Icon can be inspected in business hours most days by appointment.
