The Jensen GT is the rare hardtop version of the Jensen Healey. This car has a 5 speed manual gearbox, and comes with Dellorto carburettors as opposed to the Strombergs normally fitted to the GT and later Jensen-Healeys. The car has the GT steering wheel and wheel centres, original cloth seats and interior. The car is in good condition. I have owned it since 2012. Here’s a summary of what’s been done to the car since then: • Underbody seal applied • New headlining • Rebuilt front end suspension and steering, including refurbished steering rack • New shock absorbers • New tyres • Refurbished front and rear brakes including new drums and discs • New exhaust and manifold • Installed rear seatbelts • Replaced wheel bearings • New clutch lever rubber boot • Replaced gearstick linkages • New speedo cable • New fuel pump • Etc etc… The badly designed factory bonnet prop has been replaced with gas struts to give better access and safety when working on the car. The Jensen GT is almost mechanically identical to the Jensen-Healey Mk 2. Parts are readily available from a number of sources in Australia, the UK or the US. This car also comes with a rare GT parts catalogue, a workshop manual, an owners handbook and all receipts for work done to the car since I owned it. The car is on WA concessional (club) registration.
