Riding the high of Sigma sales, the Scorpion filled the gap in the market for an affordable rear-wheel drive sports coupe. This is an Australian-delivered car, sold new at Portside Mitsubishi. Powered by the 2.6L 4-cylinder motor, the Scorpion produced a promising 75kW. This is paired with a desirable 5-speed manual transmission. The Scorpion is a very original car, receiving some rust removal over the years, but otherwise remaining largely untouched. Finished in Polar White with brown trim, the car features an original AM/FM radio and cassette player. It presents very nicely for the age of the vehicle, though at 42 years old, it is certainly not new. Its age also makes it eligible for historic registration to keep on-road costs at a minimum. The Scorpion comes with its original books, a workshop manual, and a file detailing its rich history. Now getting harder and harder to find, this very affordable two-door coupe is wonderful value for money.
