For sale: 1984 Toyota LandCruiser 60 Series FJ60RG G-Pack Price: $12,995 Hi all, up for sale is my ‘84 60 Series G-Pack with the 2F carbureted engine with 402,xxxkm on the clock. This car has had a long history, belonging to a Vietnam Veteran from what I can gather by the stickers and number plate cover, it sat for 15 years in a rural NSW town before being put on the road around 5 years ago. To get it on the road extensive work was done which I have receipts for. Here’s a list: Front Brake Rebuild (Nov 2019) Rear Brake Rebuild (Sep 2020) Swivel Hubs Ignition and Distributor systems replaced Shocks Radiator Pushrod Belts Thermostat Carburetor Rebuild Head Reconditioned Heavy Duty Clutch and more... For the age it is in pretty reasonable and original condition with minimal rust only to the rear left wheel arch, surprisingly none in the gutters, I’m looking at getting a quote for this soon. The paint is above average condition with the exception of a couple of scratches and dings here and there. The rear bar has seen better days but is still a solid bar and comes with towball. The front bar is completely original and is in exceptional condition. Interior is in fair condition with the odd tear in the seat and crack in plastic, but presents well and the carpet is in good condition also. Being the G-Pack it has a few extra like cloth seats, chrome touches, clinometer, chrome wheels etc.. Mechanically the car works very well with no weird noises, the carburetor needs a tune but again I should have that sorted by the time the sale comes around. I’ve just done a service on it replacing the engine oil and filter, I’ll include gear oil in the sale. It has an oil leak coming from around the sump and rocker cover which have both been reflected in the price. Electronics work well with the exception of it needing new speakers installed, amplifier and head unit work to the best of my knowledge. I took it away to Myall Lakes a couple of months ago and had no issues whatsoever. Suspension rides as expected for a 36 year old leaf sprung car with no knocks. Brakes work very well within the last year the disks and drums have both been rebuilt. I’m looking to sell for a number of personal reasons, the biggest being I’m hoping to move to the city soon and there’s just no place for it. It has 1 month of rego left so for the right price I may be willing to put another 3 or so months on, or you could register it historically for $96; It has had zero modifications thus making it eligible. If you’re keen I urge you to come and have a look in Avalon Beach 2107 as I take pride in this car and would like to sell to a good owner who can love it as much as I have. In the sale I’ll also be including close to $1000 worth of 4x4 recovery gear including, air compressor, max trax, manual winch and cable, cable dampener and tree trunk protector, all of which have only been used a couple of times.
