Introduced in 1977 (as a '78 model year) after its debut at the Geneva motor show, the Wolfgang Möbius Styled 928 was intended to replace the 911 and take the mantle of Porsche's flagship model. However, proposed 911 ending US regulations never eventuated, allowing Porsche to maintain the 911's production to present day.
This 928 S was delivered new by Hamiltons of South Yarra on 14/03/1986 and ownership transferred to Perth the following year where it remained until 2024 when it returned to Melbourne. It features the 288hp 5L 32 valve V8 and 4 speed automatic transmission.
Accompanying the Porsche is a full service history and books, invoices from ‘Auto Exclusive Perth’ from 1997 to 2023, including a Cambelt and Water Pump change in 2023 and was serviced in March 2026 by Porsche Centre Brighton.
