No room for it (Make a sensible offer) The Mitsubishi GTO or 3000GT as it was called outside of Japan was a GT Sports car that was produced in a single generation between 1990 and 2000. In this 10-year period the car would see three updates with the Z15A & Z16A being the second of the three between 1994 & 1997. In August 1994 the Japanese market saw the introduction of the "Mitsubishi Racing" or MR version, a badge typically saved for the lighter versions of the Evolution. The MR version was identical the GTO twin-turbo mechanically, but saw the 4WS, active aero, ABS and ECS deleted (unless optioned). The MR was also featured on a Japanese TV program accelerating faster than an R32 GTR over a mile. This imported GTO MR is a particularly rare find, not only due to being a GTO MR but the overall condition of the vehicle. It features the 6spd Getrag gearbox, very low 86,130 indicated, HRS 19" Wheels and a completely reconditioned engine only 450km ago costing nearly $15,000 with receipt. The A/C system was also recently serviced and is nice and cold for those hot days. As you can see in the photos the car has been very well looked after inside and out, and the vibrant red paint is an absolute head turner. With all the work and overall conditon of the car this is a rare JDM that is ready to go. This is ideal for an enthusiast or JDM collector and being an MR is extremely rare and sort after.
