Calais V8 Ls1 has been in the family since 2004. The car is Original from Factory , no modifications except for tyres and rims which are 20 inch size. I had no intentions of selling so Over the last 2 years I spent over 7k on repairs that needed to be done. This a list of repairs. - radiator , alternator , starter motor - battery , lower control arms , front wheel hubs rotors , front and rear shocks and brakes - Air-conditioner compressor replacement - sunroof glass replaced by webasto due to holden recall - Full service filters , fluids , spark plugs and leads. - Gaurds rolled to ensure less wheel scrape - Belts , tensioners and pulleys My Mechanic , Nick who owns Maroubra Auto and Electrical in Botany knows the car up close and personal. - I have 2 keys. Very smooth an absolute pleasure to drive , quiet until you push the throttle then you hear v8 purr. The paint is very good as the car mainly garaged it just needs a good buff. The reason for sale is my 3 teenage kids needs a car that is non performance based. My intentions were to keep a part of history and a Sunday Driver as it a definite Investment for the near future. It will be 20 years old come 2024 Averaging 8000 kms a year the mileage speaks volumes for how well this car has been kept.
