Introduced in 2015, marking the 50thAanniversary of the Mustang’s launch, the 6th Generation Mustang would be the first production Mustang ever built from the factory in right hand drive! Available in Australia from January 2016, in either a 2.3L Ecoboost 4 cylinder or with a 5.0L Coyote V8, the 6th gen Mustang was a hit before it even landed on Australian shores, with all of 2016’s allocations preordered!
This ‘Race Red’, 5.0L GT Fastback was sent to Herrod Performance in 2017 to be thoroughly uprated, with the installation of a Roush Stage 2 supercharger kit, track handling upgrades, Borla (Ford Preformance) exhaust & rear diffuser, all engineered and VASS complianced on the 14th of December 2017.
The Stage 2 Supercharger Kit includes: Roush 2.3L TVS Supercharger, High Boost 80mm Supercharger Pulley, Roush ECU Recalibration, Twin 60mm Throttle Bodies, Improved Induction System, Uprated Radiator, Air-Water Intercooler, High Flow Injectors and a Fuel Control Module. All Together this Allows the 5.0L Coyote to Produce 727hp @ 6850rpm (+317hp / +77%) and 610lb-ft (+219lb-ft / +56%) @ 5000rpm.
Purchased new on the 1st of June 2016, from Essendon Ford, this Mustang has travelled just ~6,500km, has been cherished and still presents showroom new!
Vastly enhanced mechanically, while still retaining its OEM appearance, this Mustang is a real Jekyll and Hyde, lovely and planted, until your right foot becomes too heavy!
