A Tribute to Japanese Sports Cars - 2019 Motorclassica
This year’s tribute to Japanese sports cars included some rare and unusual machines from a country more usually connected with everyday passenger cars.
Backstopped by Nissan, who presented four generations of their GT-R (from R32 to R35), with other Nissan product on show including a 1965 Silvia (one of only 49 sold in Australia) and a ’72 2000 GTX coupe, other Japanese sporty classics on show included a Mazda Cosmo and Honda 1300 coupe, as well as the quintessential classic Japanese sports car – the Datsun Z, with both 240Z and 260Z represented.
