BMW BUILD A FAST UTE!

Faster than a speeding M3 sedan, BMW have built what they say is the world's first high-performance pickup. I think FPV and HSV might disagree, but that's another story.

The BMW M3 Ute is powered by a 300km/h 309kW V8 engine for race-oriented driving pleasure. It has a removable Targa roof and fine tuned aerodynamics and tailored suspension set-up. The practical features of the BMW M3 Pickup are no less impressive. Maximum load capacity has been raised to 450 kilograms. The load bed of the BMW M3 Pickup is clad in high-grade structured aluminium sheeting and provides the biggest cargo capacity ever offered on a BMW M vehicle.

BMW say the vehicle is a one-off and will remain a workshop transport vehicle.
