Competition Revs up as Aussies are Called on to Cast Their Votes
For the past two months, the auto brand has been calling for motoring enthusiasts, amateur film makers and fans of the brand to create a 30 second Supercheap Auto ad as part of the competition.
A Supercheap Auto judging panel has now shortlisted the top ten entries and the Australian public has been strapped into the driver's seat to decide the final fate of these budding film makers.
The Big Break Competition winner will have their ad aired to more than two million television viewers during the broadcast of the Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 as well as pocketing a cool cash prize of $20,000.
Supercheap Auto marketing manager David Bauer said the business was excited about engaging its fans in this unique way.
"Our fans are our best brand ambassadors, which is why we are handing the reins over to general public to make the final decision," Mr Bauer said.
"It is a really great shortlist of unique and creative entries; we all have our own personal favourites and are really excited to see which one wins over the public.
"The finalists have put in a lot of time and effort creating these ads so we really want to see the nation get behind their favourite," he said.
All ten finalists have earned themselves a $1,000 reward and the person with the highest number of votes will take out the grand prize.
Aussies can vote for their favourite and be in with a chance of winning a brand new Holden Commodore SS by visiting www.supercheapauto.com.au/bigbreak.
