Dates announced for 49th Historic Winton
The Austin 7 Club has released dates and initial details for the 49th Historic Winton. The next edition of this annual historic motorsport event will be held at Winton Motor Raceway on 30 – 31 May, 2026.

With around 300 vehicles in action from the 1920s to the 1980s, Historic Winton features everything from Group N Touring Cars to Formula Vee, Ja/Jb Vintage to Group S Sports, Group Lb, Regularity, Fa/Fb Formula Ford and more, ensuring huge diversity.
The full programme, which will include new features for 2026, will be announced in the coming months.

John Kessner, Austin 7 Club Member and Historic Winton Event Coordinator, said that, along with the big 2-day track programme, the 49th Historic Winton will feature fantastic displays, an automotive market, and delicious food and beverages.

“Spectators will have access to the competition paddock where they can view the race cars up close and meet the drivers,” he said. “We are also working hard to encourage even more displays through providing free display passes (driver and one passenger per car) for anniversary marques and invited clubs.”

For 2026, some of those anniversaries include 100 years of Pontiac, Mercedes-Benz, the Riley Nine and Amilcar CGSS, amongst others. The FE Holden, Austin A35 and Renault Dauphine all turn 70 in 2026, with 60-year anniversaries for the Toyota Corolla, XR Falcon, Alfa Romeo Spider, Mini Moke, the debut of the Chevy Camaro and others. In addition, 2026 marks 50 years of the Lotus Esprit, Bristol 603 and VW Golf GTI, to name a few.
Owners of all marques and models celebrating anniversaries in 2026 are invited to bring their vehicles along for the paddock displays, with selected vehicles invited to the lunchtime track parade each day.

Tickets for the 49th Historic Winton are now on sale, with Early Bird ticket purchasers (up to until 31 January, 2026) going into the draw to win a ride in one of the parade laps. The winner will be able to participate in their own approved vehicle or a ride (two people) in an Austin 7.
