Nissan release 370Z N-Sport special
In addition to the 370Z, the N-Sport package is also being offered on the X-Trail and Pathfinder SUVs and comes after a similar treatment, applied to 500 examples of the Navara dual cab ute last year, was a sellout.
Nissan says the MY18 370Z N-Sport was inspired by the Datsun 280ZX “Black Gold’ edition, which was released in 1980 to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the 240Z - the original ‘Z car’
The modern N-Sport package, available on 370Zs in Chicane Yellow and premium Diamond Black and Shiro White (which each add $550 to the list price), features GT-inspired exterior graphics that start at the tip of the bonnet and stretch over the roof and boot lid, as well as across the base of the doors. This striping is black on the Chicane Yellow and Shiro White 370Z N-Sport and silver on the Diamond Black version. Black 18-inch alloy wheels and gloss black side mirrors complete the exterior touches.
Inside, the N-Sport package adds yellow accents on the steering wheel, gear shift knob, knee pads and dash, while the door trims and bespoke black cloth seats are accented with yellow stitching. Only 50 units of the Nissan 370Z N-Sport will be produced, priced from $48,490 plus on-road costs for the manual version ($50,990 for the auto + ORCs), which is actually a $1,500 saving on the restructured pricing for the 370Z announced last year.
