Renault Koleos Concept

Renault say the Koleos will be a serious all terrain vehicle that will feature the comfort and dynamics of a premium passenger car, yet deliver substantial off road ability. Designed at the Renault Samsung Motors Design Centre in Korea and first shown as a concept in 2006 at the Paris Motor Show, the Koleos is poised to go head to head with the ML Class Mercedes and BMW X5. It can run in two or four wheel drive mode, with electronic distribution of torque as required. It is equipped with ABS, Emergency Brake Assist and ESP, Hill Start Assist and Hill Down Control. It is powered by a 2.0-litre CRD turbo-charged diesel engine, mated to a six-speed manual gearbox. The Koleos will be released in Australia, perhaps by the end of the year..
