The Holden Kingswood is a car that will always be a memorable part of Australian motoring history, holding its place as the iconic Australian-built sedan that never died. Although built in large numbers due to their incredible popularity, well-preserved examples are getting harder and harder to find.
This particular HZ Kingswood SL Wagon was a single-owner original inland NSW country car that was recently purchased, collected, serviced, and brought to auction. The HZ presents in all its originality, bumps, bruises, and wear—a rare untouched original example. To get the car back to good running order in May of 2026, the HZ had a reconditioned brake booster fitted, new fluids and filters, and a transmission service.
