Superb example of the mark. This car is in stunning condition and received a full nut-and-bolt restoration over a period of several years. The full restoration was carried out by Kester Weeks from “Old Car Restorations Parkhurst QLD ”. The body was blasted and fully restored to its former glory and painted flawlessly in dark black. All chrome work re-plated and is in perfect condition. Frame was also blasted and painted and bumper brackets powder coated. All fixing parts are zinc-plated. The car has not a spot of rust and looks as good underneath as it does from the top. Engine had a complete overhaul by SS and MK4 guru Ed Nantes he also fitted a brand new “Guy Broad sport Five speed gearbox which is perfectly suited to this car. A complete new correct wiring harness fitted, generator and distributor all rebuilt new dual fuel pumps fitted and dual carburettors overhauled. Complete new leather interior and fitted floor covering. Many receipts and all documentation go with the car, showing well over $130K spent on the restoration alone. Recently I fitted 5 new chrome wire wheels order made in the UK (8K). Tyres are “Blockley’s all round” If only the best will do for you consider this magnificent car that is always garaged.
