1951 Nash Ambassador Custom (Model 5178) 4 door sedan with hydramatic transmission. Colour: Harvard Maroon. Have original Vehicle Import Approval certificate from previous owner. Currently a Restoration Project. Major work completed, as follows: • Basic engine overhaul & repair • New timing chain • All running gear overhaul & repair (transmission, drive shaft, differential, steering, suspension, axles & bearings, brakes etc) • New brake lines, master cylinder, slave cylinders (front), new brake pads • New fuel line • Carburettor overhaul • Radiator & water pump overhaul • Suspension & steering gear, all bushes, new front coil springs, new shockers • New front windscreen and sealing rubber • New rear window sealing rubber (rear window is good) • Electrical wiring (conversion to 12V dc -GND), including ignition, generators, switches, lights/indicators now all working.
