Selling our 1956 Chevrolet C1 Corvette which has been beautifully restored and presented car in Cascade Green with Beige coves and interior. This was the rarest colour combination available in that year and in our opinion, the most desirable. The car is running a recently rebuilt 327ci V8 engine and the original 3 speed manual transmission. It is an absolute blast to drive and sounds great with a nice exhaust note out the back. The engine has original style valve covers and oil filler for an original look visually and a brand new Quadrajet carburettor with electric choke for reliability. The car has undergone a full restoration some years ago and has always been well kept and used sparingly since so the paintwork shines well and presents nicely as does the chrome which is mostly original.
The entire interior of the car was recently replace from carpets to dash and is in near perfect condition and features a retrosounds original look stereo for great sound and Bluetooth connectivity! It has also recently been completely rewired from headlights to tail lights utilising a modern fuse box for safety and reliability of the electrical system.
The car features both soft and hard tops, the soft top being completely brand new including frame, canvas and all rubbers while the hard top is believed to be an original item and is nicely restored inside and out with correct headliner presenting like the rest of the vehicle. The car sits on its original frame and drive line which is all in fantastic condition and presents well underneath. It retains the original style wheels and hubcaps with wide white walls completing the perfect period look.
We searched long and hard before we purchased this car, it attracts attention where ever we take it and photos do not do it justice, it really needs to be seen to be appreciated.
