Land rover series 2 1959 Ex army Odometer shows 47171 but it had stopped. I have done around a couple of thousand before having the Odometer wound through and fixing the speedo cable. Massive amount of work to get it to this point (many receipts included). It runs well and was intended to be my daily driver and had full registration before moving to club rego, which it is currently on (non transferable). It is for sale as my family is increasing and I cannot drive it as I used to, so I would prefer it to go to someone that can. Very fun to drive, rust free, chassis is in a great condition and has free wheeling hubs. All systems appear to working as they should. Slight tapping in gearbox but it has been like that for years and it is why I am offering another gearbox to go with it as it was my intention to swap them out. Occasionally will jump out of 3rd if off acceleration on downhills but I have gotten used to holding the gearstick and all is fine.. Engine has been refurbished with turner engineering VRS gasket and seal kit and has been skimmed flat. Cooling jacket cleaned and freeze plugs replaced New items: - Assorted oils, sunshade, crank handle, tray cover, padlock kit for park brake and mudguards - Seats, roof and door lining, canvas door covers - Mirror and brackets - Installed manual reverse lights - New headlights, parkers and indicators - New door tops and door locks - Gps speedometer included (removable) - Fitted sest belts for driver/passenger seat - Fitted aftermarket wiper motor, have a second motor included - Fire extinguisher - New century high performance battery - Radiator - Powerspark electronic distributor and coil, Leads, spark plugs - Clutch master and slave - Stainless braided lines for clutch and brake master - new shocks - New clutch - Full 2 inch exhaust system and headers - Reconditioned su hif6 carburettor and manifold/linkages from HNJ Engineering - Thermo fan - Aluminium fuel tank cleaned and fitted with new screw top, fuel sender and in line filter. - New fuel pump - Brake system has been overhauled with cylinders and lines replaced, drums machined. - All new tyres dunlop sp qualifier 7.50 R 16 including a spare Extra Parts: - S3 suffix B gearbox (dismantled but all there) - throttle linkages - s2 forward sills
