Just arrived - Start your next summer project with this sweet 1962 Holden EK Special. This is a Brisbane-built car, equipped with the standard 2.3L 'grey' straight-six motor, and a 3-speed column-shift manual transmission. Like all Special models, the car received stainless steel trims, chrome 'Special' badges, a white roof, and a two-tone vinyl interior. It was originally finished in Cataract Grey (0236) with a Grenadier Red and Athens Grey interior (964). The EK is still presented in its original colours and displays evidence of an older restoration at some point in its life. This is a project vehicle, and as such, is not in perfect condition; however, it is solid and very honest. Both the paint and interior are tidy, featuring a Sound 4 cassette AM/FM radio and some aftermarket gauges, suggesting that previous work has been done to the car. The EK runs and drives (a video can be provided upon request), but it requires some attention to restore it to its former glory. Whether it's a classic cruiser, a concours winner, or a hotted-up beast you were after, this car is a wonderful starting point to making your dreams come true.
