Reluctant sale from the vendor who has lovingly cared for this Ute for over 18 years. Starting out life as an SEC vehicle, it was sold to an employee once it was retired from the fleet, remaining under his ownership until it was purchased by the vendor. It underwent a no expense spared restoration that has resulted in probably the best XW Ute we’ve had the pleasure of offering.
Fitted with a 300HP Balanced 302 V8 Windsor with Mahl pistons, Mellings oil pump & timing chain set, custom grind cam shaft & ARP bolts throughout. The carburetor is a Holley 600 double pumper fitted to a Edelbrock manifold, the Windsor is paired to a C4 automatic transmission and has an 8 ¾ custom built differential (3.00 LSD with finned GT rear drums). The craftsmanship and attention to detail that’s been put into the quality custom leather interior is a credit to the vendor especially with the Falcon logo being stitched into the seats paying homage to the iconic nameplate.
The Globe wheels are as pristine as the car itself and one glance at the gleaming luster-full metallic silver paintwork clearly highlights the quality workmanship that has gone into this build.
Only 8000 Miles has been put on the clock since its restoration over 18 years ago and it has been tucked up in the vendors garage, ceramic coated and covered, only coming out on sunny days.
