Seller's Description
1971 VH Valiant Manual Charger (R/T Replica) which I have had for the past 22 years (from a sort of rolling shell of sorts).
265 Hemi and E49 running gear. Built by Rocktedyne in Busselton in 2007. Hardly driven since.
Some of the rebuild specs are:
CM269D Dynotec (E49 Spec) Camshaft, Yella Terra Roller Rockers,
Remachined original wheels (x4).
This vehicle has always been stored undercover and have also replaced the sunroof that had been cut in when purchased.
The velvet interior was also provided by former owner and has held up very well.
Has RT dash, RT grille with genuine driving lights & RT steering wheel.
Paint does needs work (was done by the prior owner 20 years ago) with the boot and roof needing some attention. This has been on my list, but mechanics, interior and wheels have taken priority. (Have spare decals to replace faded ones, but easy enough to get from Hemi Performance). There is a small amount of surface rust in the boot wings, but otherwise straight and rust free.
The battery is in boot (missing as per engine bay photo), and this car is registered (WA) and drives brilliantly.
There are always things to improve and fix, but this is certainly not a project car and has served as may daily driver back in the day. Have had this hard to find vehicle for 22 years, but have run out of time to complete it with a young family. Reluctant sale, but not in a hurry to sell. Otherwise happy to answer questions as best I can (I'm more of an enthusiast as opposed to mechanic).
