Australian Delivered car on the 28th September 1979 by United Motors RR dealers.
Mileage- 141,780 km (approximately 3,100 km per year on average)- Full service history.
Chassis number CRH 50113
This series II specification features upgraded and highly improved steering, climate control air conditioning / heating.
and pleasingly featuring the then newly introduced 'Mineral oil' brake and suspension system. Condition
EXTERIOR -
is very good for its age with only minimal imperfections. The colour is called Ivory.
INTERIOR- features tan Connolly leather which is in very good condition with correct leather food regularly applied. The Wilton carpets remain in very good condition having been preserved under sumptuous Rolls Royce Lambswool 'over rugs' from new as per the car's delivery sheets. All electrical items such as seats & windows work as they should. Very cold air conditioning and warm heating. The Burl Walnut woodwork remains in very good condition.
MECHANICAL-
starts easily, the choke functions as it should guiding the car to a nice smooth idle. In 2025 around $3800 was spent fitting new spark plugs & leads, new fuel filters & carburettor filters and a new Rolls Royce specification fuel pump plus repairs to the fuel lines. It doesn't blow any smoke and suspension remains free of knocks or clunks.
A huge folio containing the extensive maintenance records and Build records accompanies the car.
This is a rare car ALWAYS HIGHLY and EXPERTLY MAINTAINED with respect and reverence due to a Rolls Royce
unlike many other neglected Rolls Royces!
This series II car is much rarer than a series I Corniche and this ensures its future collectability and this is the 'rarest of the rare' being 1 of only 67 RHD series II specification cars produced.
It is very much a long distance 'driver's car' and the upgrades make it a superior car for rallies and club outings.
I am happy to discuss this car with those who are genuinely 'in the market' to buy such a collectable yet imminently useable car.
A far better driving experience than the series I SY series cars thanks to the upgraded 'rack and pinion' steering as used by most other European prestige car brands.
