The Silver Spirit model brought Rolls-Royce into the 1980s with a modern and improved design. It featured the smooth 6750cc V8 engine, a very high level of luxury and Rolls-Royce’s famous build quality.
This car was delivered new in Essex, England and after a few years found its way to Western Australia. It’s finished in a very regal colour combination of dark blue metallic paintwork with rich red interior. The car features the attractive and rare option of factory alloy wheels.
The car had a two long-term owners in Perth. Two years ago it found a new owner, with the intention of using the Silver Spirit for wedding work, in an idea which ultimately didn’t eventuate. The car was inspected for wedding car use and passed without any issues.
The owner advises that everything works as it should. There are a few minor cosmetic issues externally, not uncommon on a 40-year-old car. It should be noted that the underside and structure of the car is rust free otherwise the car would not have passed the recent pit inspection for registration. The most recent inspection was six months ago.
Inside, the car is lovely, plush and comfortable with beautiful polished woodwork throughout. With power seats, zone-adjustable climate control air conditioning, plush leather seats and the typical Rolls-Royce ‘wafting’ driving, this is a very luxurious and well-equipped car even by today’s standards.
There is a book set with the car in its original compendium, however the service booklet has not been stamped. A quantity of receipts for work done go with the car.

The owner is realistic about car values and the car is priced to sell. This Silver Spirit is not a concours trailer queen, but a sound, nicely kept example in which everything works, that offers tremendous value.
