Launched in 1996, the XK8 was available of release in both a coupe and convertible body style, then from 2002 it featured Jaguar’s vastly improved AJ33 4.2 litre V8, equipped with four valves per cylinder and double overhead camshafts, generating 224 kW of power and 420 Nm of torque, capable of propelling the convertible from standstill to 100 kph in 6.7 seconds. The XK8 is a superb cruiser, commendably quiet, with smooth shifting through the six-speed automatic gearbox.
This Australian delivered XK8 was delivered to a Mr R.Mander of Church Point NSW on 28/2/2005 by Alto Land Rover, Artarmon and is in beautiful condition, complete with original books and complete history, most recently serviced in Aug 2023 at 110,065km by Westernport Automotive of Hastings.
