Toyota’s 2008 IS250 Prestige Lexus, is right up there for a quality second hand car.

The V6 suited the compact car and also made the safety engineers’ jobs easier by allowing them to investigate different crumple zones.

The IS250 Prestige model gets lots of standard gear including heated and powered front seats, leather upholstery and dual-zone air-conditioning.

Safety is taken care of too, with plenty of air-bags and all the usual fitments such as stability control and brake-assist for the ABS system.

The big ace up the sleeve of the IS250 is its rear-wheel-drive layout which many drivers simply prefer over a front-drive set-up.
