Auto MY11 Our head-turner of C70 has been a really reliable and very comfortable car which has seen limited, gentle touring for us mainly on regional, sealed roads, with very little city driving. It’s been economic to maintain, kept under cover and regularly serviced as per the service schedule (most recently 19/5/23). All four tyres are at 70-80%, with a wheel alignment in April this year. It was bought by us from Rex Gorrell Volvo, Geelong in 2015 and has had no major accidents or incidents during that time. It converts from a quiet hard-top to a sporty convertible with the touch of a button in 30 second. There’s a typical abundance of Volvo safety systems, such as electronic stability control with traction control, and anti-lock brakes (ABS) with Electronic Brake Assistance. In addition to front airbags, there are side airbags in front, and air curtains which activate upwards from the doors, even with the windows rolled down. The Rollover Protection System activates a pop-up roll bar in a roll-over situation. This C70 is the only car that we know of exported to Australia fitted with the “Teknik Pack” as an option, which includes satellite navigation, Volvo's Blind Spot Identification System (BLIS), adaptive Xeon headlights, compass, Bluetooth connectivity and headlight washers and cranberry soft-leather electric seats with independent heating and memory-positioning (waxed every 6 months). This car also comes with a genuine Volvo Wind Deflector with its own stowage bag. A car cover is included. Queensland rego until December; roadworthy ready. We’re sad to see it go, but a recent change to an EV means we need to move it on to some appreciative wind-in-your-hair enthusiast who won’t be disappointed.
