Extra Information: The S5000 (often referred to in the context of the "Super 5000" concept) was a modern, high-powered Australian open-wheel racing category. Designed to echo the iconic Formula 5000 cars of the 1970s, the series used roaring 5.0-litre V8 engines and carbon-fibre chassis.
Designed in South Australia by Oscar Fiorinotto’s Supashock Racing Engineering the vehicle on offer is a one-off build and more than $2 million was invested to get to the build of this single car.
The car has a full carbon tub and is complete except for a gearbox and engine. Although the car was designed for a Supercar engine it can easily be adapted to suit an off the shelf crate motor (either Ford or Chev).
