Goodwood Revival to honour Jack Brabham
Organisers of the annual Goodwood Revival have announced that the 2026 edition of the all-historic motorsport event will celebrate the late Sir Jack Brabham. This year marks the centenary of Brabham’s birth, as well as six decades since Brabham’s third and final Formula 1 Driver’s World Championship.

To be held on 18-20 September, the 2026 Goodwood Revival will bring together up to 50 cars from Brabham’s career for track parades across the weekend. This collection will include some of the Aussie motorsport legend’s championship-winning cars, alongside Formula 1, touring and sports cars that carried the Brabham name up to his retirement from F1 in 1970.

Goodwood is working closely with David Brabham to ensure the celebration reflects both the family’s perspective and enduring legacy of the Brabham name.
“My father, Sir Jack, achieved so much throughout his career, from winning his third Formula 1 Championship at the age of 40, to co-founding one of the most influential racing car manufacturers of its time,” said David Brabham. “It means a great deal to our family to see his legacy honoured in this way at the Goodwood Revival, especially with so many of his cars coming together.”

Brabham’s connection to Goodwood goes back to the early stages of his international career, when he tested and raced the Cooper-Alta at the English circuit in the early 1950s. He went on to win a Formula 2 race at Goodwood in 1966, and later returned, both for the Festival of Speed in 1996, and for several Revival appearances.

“Jack Brabham is a true motorsport legend - a triple world champion who is also one of a select few who was a superstar at Goodwood in its first incarnation, and again in the modern era,” said the Duke of Richmond, founder of the Goodwood Revival. “When he raced at the Revival, he had lost none of his fierce competitive streak, despite being in his 70s.
“We’re looking forward to celebrating Jack’s career and enduring legacy at the Revival later this year, with many of the wonderful cars he created coming together for the occasion.”
