Holden VF Commodore scavenger hunt is on!
Today's first clue is: "On a street in the Rocks (Sydney) named after a rare type of pink diamond, this House usually displays art, not cars."
Anyone who finds a piece of the image and shares it online could win one of the first VF Commodores to roll off the production line.
Physical pieces are hidden in a variety of places including retail stores, cafes, bars and even in local street art. Holden says registrations for the competition are already approaching 10,000, with clues to the online and physical pieces of the puzzle found on www.buildthecommodore.com.au - the build the new Commodore microsite.
Most believe that the VF Commodore will closely resemble the Chevrolet SS (pictured) that was revealed in December, particularly in front end detailing, while the rear end has been tipped as having a 'two-level' design similar to the Volt electric car that's currently available.
"We've had a great response to the hunt so far, with thousands of fans and enthusiasts eager to get their first clue and start piecing together the puzzle," Holden Marketing Director, Simon Carr said.
"Parts of the VF Commodore are hidden all over Australia's major capital cities, from car parks to art galleries, as well as some intriguing online locations.
"Many of our Holden ambassadors are getting on board, with some of Holden's prolific sporting personalities joining the hunt."
The Holden Facebook page will be updated each day with pieces found to date as the image of the Commodore is pieced together.
The hunt will conclude as the real-life car is revealed via live stream on the Holden website from 10:30AM on Sunday, February 10.
Participants are still able to register to help Holden build the new Commodore, on www.buildthecommodore.com.au.
