Just arrived - This 1953 Austin A30 Seven is a lovely little English classic. Marketed as 'the slickest little car that ever set wheels on the road', the Austin A30 makes you smile. Driven by an 803cc 4-cylinder engine and a 4-speed manual transmission, the A30 is modest but capable. The current owner purchased the A30 in 2021 and has loved it ever since. Some money has been spent on fitting an electric fuel pump with a primer, the master cylinder was resleeved, and a second-hand gearbox, clutch, and pressure plate fitted. The A30 comes with a file documenting work done to the vehicle, dating back to 1996, along with an owner's handbook, a workshop manual, and a sales brochure. An older restoration, the classic green exterior is in tidy condition for the age of the car. The A30's tan leather interior is very neat, and despite its compact size, it can comfortably accommodate multiple adults with plenty of boot space too. These cars are very simple and reliable, which makes them a fantastic entry-level classic. They are also eligible for historic registration, which greatly minimises on-road costs and makes for an all-round affordable historic vehicle.
