This custom 1954 Buick Roadmaster Coupe is powered by the later model Buick 455 big block and a three speed transmission. The mounting of the rear 10 bolt diff has been altered to a ladder bar style with Air Ride front and rear airbags manually controlled by rocker switches in the cab with a digital status display. Four wheel power assisted disc brakes provide confident braking. The Roadmaster was the top of the Buick luxury range and had a longer wheel base than the Century and many features that were unique to the Roadmaster. Factory power windows that work very well. Power steering. Cruise control. Retro fitted under-dash air conditioning. Thermostatically controlled 3000 cfm puller fan providing cooling to the alloy custom radiator. Operational side pipes with heat shields. Shaved door handles and boot lock with electric solenoid door and trunk release buttons. Frenched headlights. Bullet rear lenses. Led indicators in both the door mirror glasses and trick amber indicator lights in the four fender portholes. 15 inch chrome wire wheels with Nankang 255/70R15 tyres less than a year old. Battery relocated to the trunk. Custom pinstriping by Slick Lines. Bluetooth Alpine stereo unit with rear speakers in the parcel shelf. Tail shaft hoop and strengthened chassis.
