The Holden EJ was introduced as a replacement to the EK series and would run for only a short 13 months. In comparison to the EK, the EJ was a complete redesign and saw some major updates in body shape and mechanical components. Four body styles were offered across three trim levels for each of the EJ's, and it also saw the last of the 138ci inline six known as the 'grey motor' used.
This ready-to-restore example of a true Aussie Classic EJ Special sedan is finished in Riverina Blue with an Atherton Ivory roof and blue interior. The EJ indicates 18,475 miles traveled since new, but without books, it is hard to determine how many times it has ticked over the 99,999 miles on the odometer. The car has suffered from rust, primarily through the floors, and some other bumps and dings surrounding the body. The interior is presentable for its age.
