Driven by a 429ci (7L) V8 and a 3-speed 'TH400' automatic transmission, this is the perfect sleek cruiser. Originally from Oregon, the Cadillac was imported to Adelaide in 1994. It was then put in storage in 1997, and has only just come back on the road after 29 years. To get it back on the road, over $10,000 has been spent on a new radiator, new thermostat and water pump, all new hoses, new brake shoes, wheel cylinders, and master cylinder. All brake lines were cleaned out, the steering box was reconditioned, the headlights replaced, transmission flushed and tested, and the engine received a full flush and service. Open the driver's door, and you will find a completely original interior, with electric windows, mirrors, and front seats. It presents incredibly well for its age, though at 62 years old, it is certainly not new. It is also eligible for historic registration, which means you can enjoy cruises with like-minded enthusiasts as well as minimal on-road costs.
