Originally driven by a 1300cc engine, it is now powered by a 1600cc 4-cylinder engine and a 4-speed manual transmission. The Beetle has travelled around 5000km since its rebuild. This rebuild included new rings, big-end bearings, new valves, a new clutch and pressure plate, all-new wheel cylinders and drums, brake hoses, gearbox mounts, and plenty more. The Beetle has had a new roof lining fitted, new door rubbers, and a respray in lovely off-white. It presents very well for its age and comes with a small file of receipts and an owner's manual. Eligible for historic registration, join the Volkswagen Club of SA to enjoy minimal on-road costs as well as cruises with like-minded enthusiasts. This is a wonderful little car that would make a great club cruiser to enjoy on the weekends.
