Just arrived - This 1967 Ford ZA Fairlane 500 is a wonderful classic cruiser. Based on the XR Falcon, 8,814 ZA Fairlanes total rolled off the production line. Delivered new from Morwell Ford, the current owner purchased the car approximately 15 years ago. Driven by the matching numbers 289ci (4.7L) V8 and a 3-speed 'Cruisomatic' automatic transmission, the owner has endeavoured to keep the car as a nice original cruiser. Since then, the car has been resprayed in its original 'O' code Sage Gold paint and presents brilliantly for its age. Other things fitted to the car include a new battery, a new radiator, a new brake booster, new front springs, front and rear shocks, and new spring bolts. The interior has remained entirely original, and while it is certainly not perfect, it presents well for a 58-year-old vehicle. Power steering makes this car easy to maneuver, and with plenty of room for the whole family, this is the perfect cruiser to make memories in on the weekends. Eligible for historic registration, you can join your local Ford club and enjoy cruises with like-minded enthusiasts as well as minimal on-road costs.
