Just arrived - This 1967 Holden HR Special Sedan is a wonderful weekend cruiser. Manufactured in Melbourne, this HR Special has been under long-term ownership for the last 20 years. In that time, it has received a nice restoration and presents well for its age. This HR began its life with a 186ci (3L) 6-cylinder and an automatic transmission. Today, it is powered by a 145bhp 3L '186S' 6-cylinder and a 4-speed manual transmission. Originally Kurrewa Blue with a Grecian White roof, the HR has received a respray in a combination of white and solid Savannah Bronze. The factory Dover and Calais Blue interior has been reupholstered in Black, and presents very nicely with an upgraded Sony radio and SAAS steering wheel (original wheel to go with). Despite being an older restoration, the HR is very neat and tidy all around. There is plenty of room for the whole family to go out on Sundays or enjoy classic car events. The HR is eligible for historic registration, so you can enjoy minimal on-road costs as well as cruises with like-minded enthusiasts. This is a lovely Aussie classic that is ready to get out and make new memories.
