This Jensen Interceptor MK2 is a truly beautiful and very rare car, only 1128 (694 RHD made) of which only only a few hundred still remain in the world. So if you are looking for a full restoration project of an amazing classic, this is the car for you. If you don't know anything about Jensens, please google them so I don't bore those who already know. This Jensen needs a full resto, but the body is very good compared to some from the same period. The outer sills need replacing which is fairly simple as I have already done them on my MK3. Small holes in the floor pan and the back hatch needs work. I have a spare hatch which can be negotiated. Crome is in good condition and the Interior needs work and a few other bits and pieces but the car is 95% complete. I have a list of things missing that I can see. The single greatest cost when doing a restoration is the body work, and this one is not major. The engine (a Chrysler 383), has not started in more the 10 years, so I can't be sure about it's condition, but parts are very easy to source. A good Jensen will sell for $100K and one was sold recently in Australia for $140K. I am selling this for $35k, and if you're willing to invest time and a little money to restore it, you will be well ahead with your investment.
