This particular example has been long term owned and carefully maintained, with use limited but enthusiastic over the years. It drives very well, presented as a properly sorted classic rather than a static showpiece. Previous owner owned this car for around 25 years. We believe it to be a NZ new vehicle - first registered in New Zealand in 1971, which was comprehensively restored by a previous owner using many NOS parts. During the last ownership the car was used sparingly. It had gearbox serviced, which we can confirm feels very good. Brakes were periodically serviced with new or rebuilt cylinders recently.
Car drives very well, in our opinion, exactly as it should.
Body and paint can best be described as Stunning. The vehicle was recently subjected to a bare metal respray by Classic Passion in Silverdale, Auckland. With paint stripped, the lower sills and bottom of front a rear wings were found to be crudely repaired and with some residual corrosion. As a result, the outer and internal sills and lower wing panels were all replaced with new panels imported from Classic Alfa in UK.
