The Kombi was brought back to bare metal, then had any rust cut out, before being repainted in the eye-catching green and silver combination with a classic roof rack. It was then reupholstered in the equally vivid green and beige, and fitted with an Alpine amp and a touch-screen head unit. The current owner purchased the car 2 years ago, who then upgraded the 1.6L motor to a 1916cc 4-cylinder built by Stan Pobjoy Racing Engineering and installed by Volkscare. This is paired to a 4-speed manual transmission. Since then, the Kombi has travelled approximately 400km and remains in very neat condition.
