Original 1 owner since new Holden HQ GTS Monaro! Factory 308 Manual, Glacier White with contrasting black interior, this is a great survivor car. Car is supplied with the original owners manual and a folder with additional paperwork. Showing a little bit of patina this is a solid example that has been kept in the shed untouched for over 25 years. The original matching numbers 308 was rebuilt in 1985 before it was put away and the vehicle is supplied with the original invoice from the dealer and the receipt from when the motor was rebuilt.
After seeing the newspaper ad in the Herald Sun, the vendor placed an order with Sturgess Motors, Sale, VIC on 30th June, 1973 for a new HQ. Due to the demand, there was a longer wait than expected and the car arrived at Sturgess Motors and delivery took place on the 10th October, 1973. The original retail order with receipt for payment states that the car was ordered with, 308 V8 motor, Tinted laminated windscreen, Set of mudflaps, Push button radio, Dual exhaust and Black rear spoiler. The Monaro came with front & rear black panels but this one was optioned with a rear spoiler.
A true survivor car that is ready for its next custodian. Complete a restoration or recommission it and drive it as is, the choice will be yours.
