Just arrived - This 1977 Ford TE Cortina GL is a cool classic cruiser. This Cortina began life as a factory 4.1L 6-cylinder car, and is now equipped with a later XF-model Falcon 4.1L 6-cylinder. The original 3-speed automatic has been swapped out for a 5-speed transmission, and a 9-inch differential has been fitted too. Originally finished in Snow White, the Cortina has been resprayed in its factory colour with the fitting of a Falcon bonnet for a tougher look. In the interior, the Cortina has been given a few S-pack upgrades, like the dash and Scheel seats. Despite being an older restoration, the Cortina presents well for its age. At 49 years of age, it is not new, but a tidy weekend cruiser that you can take out and enjoy. Eligible for historic registration, you can enjoy the Cortina with minimal on-road costs. Whether you are reliving old memories or making new ones, this Cortina is a great entry-level Aussie classic.
