FULL REGO till 3 Feb Ring or text if serious! The car is in mechanically superb condition (recently passed a blue slip). Comfortably daily drivable. Its estimated between 50 and 100 190D 2.5 cars remain running in Australia (appr. less than 1000 where originally delivered) This car is an extremely rare and sought after variant of the legendary 190 body with the well renowned commercial om602 diesel engine. If you know these old Benzes well, you'll know how special this engine and body combination is, and how stupidly un-killable it is. (if you don't you should look it up). I will preface this by saying that I am a mechanic at an MB dealer. Mechanically, the car is A1. It does not leak anything, never runs hot, always starts as it should, steering is dead straight, brakes all 5mm+, tyres barely a year old, shocks all smooth and driveline renewed- (this thing doesn't make a sound on the fwy), AC works excellent, central locking works, aerial works, vacuum headlights work, etc. etc. Recent work (during my ownership): - AC system repaired, blower motor, relay, fan resistor and panel switch all new, regassed and blows cold immediately. - Fluids, engine, trans, power steering + filter in reservoir (often overlooked), differential, brake fluid (and sensor seals). (All filters OEM) - Fuel filter, air filter (Genuine) - Injector return lines (OEM) - Rear shock absorbers (KYB) - Hydraulic engine mounts replaced + transmission mount (Boonma) - 2 x rear brake calipers (Used) - Rear brake hoses (Genuine) - Pads and discs rear axle. (OEM pads, Repco discs) - 2 x Flex discs + centre bearing and bushing (OEM Febi) - Filter housing + valve cover gasket (Genuine) - to pass blueslip - 4 x NOS springs + spring pads (Genuine) - Wheel alignment (drives dead straight) - Central locking repaired (leaks found and fixed) - Electric aerial (aerpro) - Hazard switch replaced (common issue) - Fuel warmer (common failure point) bypassed. - CarPlay head unit installed (fits into factory slot). - New speakers - pioneer (in original fitment) - Lots of little things, wipers, hood ornament and badges are new genuine, rear view mirror, interior light. - Side exit exhaust - (not loud.) rear muffler HAD a tiny pinhole leak in it and is no longer available, I still have it if you want to repair it and go back to factory- otherwise the side exit has a custom bracket made and is bolted on, so it is easy to remove. Previous owner: - Windshield was replaced. - New tyres. - AMG style monoblock rims. - Ignition barrel replaced. - Starter motor I have spares to go with it for the right price. - Ignition barrel (current one has been replaced at some stage, but why not have a backup?) - 3 x spare keys (uncut brand new) - Original aerial - Original rear muffler - Glovebox
