Three first-gen Monaros. Three very different cars.
If you’re a Monaro person, start here. The September auction has three first-gen GTS Monaros, presenting three very different opportunities - a 1968 HK GTS 327 Bathurst, a 1969 HT 307 V8 GTS and, for something different, a modified 1969 HT GTS. It’s a strong snapshot of one of the most recognisable chapters in Australian muscle car history — from genuine collector appeal through to a heavily modified street car.

Three HQs. Take your pick!
The HQ group also gives Holden fans three very different choices. Along with a genuine 1973 HQ GTS 350 Monaro coupe, there’s a 1972 HQ SS sedan selling with NO RESERVE, and a 1971 HQ Monaro Coupe GTS 350 tribute, also with NO RESERVE. Genuine GTS 350, genuine SS sedan or GTS 350 tribute — same iconic HQ family, but three very different ways to get involved.

There’s also a pair of Holden Sandmans in the September line-up. These instantly recognisable pieces of Australian motoring history have their own story, and the panel van is selling with NO RESERVE. Four Toranas. Four different flavours.
Torana fans have plenty of options, from authentic restorations to modified V8 street cars. Highlights include a genuine 1970 LC GTR with its original engine and formerly in the D’Alberto Collection, a 1976 LX Torana hatchback with a 355ci V8 that’s selling with NO RESERVE, and a tough 1974 LH sedan running a 355ci V8, Tremec five-speed and custom interior.

Modern Holden muscle. HDT and HSV.
A serious cross-section of HDT/HSV performance starts with an HDT VL Group A SS Plus Pack (Build #255) with only 65,813km. There’s also a genuine HSV VL SS Group A Walkinshaw, a genuine LW5-code VL Calais with a rebuilt RB30 turbo, and another VL Calais Turbo with NO RESERVE. VN models include a 1990 HSV SV5000 with NO RESERVE and an HSV SS Group A (Build #401) with only 48,967km. Newer Holden muscle includes a Monaro CV8 (HSV GTO replica) and an HSV E-Series 3 GTS (Build #751) with just 14,513km.

For Ford fans, this auction offers the iconic Falcon GT in multiple forms. In addition to the genuine and fully restored 1968 XT GT, rebodied and restored genuine 1969 XW GT, and 1971 XY GT replica pictured, there’s another XY GT replica in the Pro Street style. Rare modern Mustangs. Saleen, Boss and Iacocca.
This isn’t a group of everyday Mustangs. Starting with a rare 2006 Saleen S281E (Build #135) with a supercharged 4.6 V8, there’s a super-rare 2009 Iacocca 45th Anniversary Edition — one of only 45 built - and a 2013 Boss 302 with a 444hp V8 and only 15,765km. Also, check the 2006 Shelby GT500 with only 5,000km, or the 2021 Mach 1 (Build #597), an ex-prize car showing just 298km and with NO RESERVE. In addition to these late-model Mustangs, there’s a selection of classic Mustangs.

Big Block Mopars. Chargers and Challenger.
Four examples of classic American Mopar muscle include a genuine 1968 Dodge Charger R/T with a matching-numbers 440 Big Block, a 1970 Charger R/T in RHD with a 426 Hemi, and a 1971 Charger R/T with a 440 Magnum that’s selling with NO RESERVE. Add in a 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T with a matching-numbers 383 Big Block and this selection will make the Mopar faithful take notice.

Five Corvettes. Five very different cars.
Corvettes in the September auction stretch from C1 (first gen) through to C6 (sixth gen). There’s a 1962 C1 roadster with a 400ci SBC and five-speed manual; a 1964 C2 roadster RestoMod with LS power; a 1964 C2 ‘Fuelie’ coupe; a 1968 C3 427 Tri-Power L68 convertible; and a 2006 C6 convertible with an LS2 and only 12,000km. That’s a broad mix of eras, specifications and driving experiences under the one badge.

Trucks and Commercials. Tough workhorses and rare customs.
If your tastes run to something bigger, but you still want some muscle in the mix, there’s a custom 1967 Chevrolet El Camino ute with a 572ci V8, and a trophy-winning 1959 Chevrolet Apache panel truck with a 454ci Big Block. Late-model Ford F-150 pickups, a classic Land Rover and Aussie utes are available, too, along with a very rare ‘Centurion Classic 350’ that combines an F350 dual cab pickup and Bronco to make one mega-SUV.

Hot Rods. Two different models, two very different builds.
Two hot rods in this auction are definitely worth a closer look. First up is a 1932 Ford roadster with an all-steel body, 383ci V8, traditional ’32 shape and plenty of attitude. The second option is a 1941 Willys coupe — converted locally from a sedan and fitted with Hemi power, an auto transmission and full custom interior. An all-steel ’32 Roadster and a Hemi-powered custom ’41 Willys coupe — two very different ways to do a hot rod.

RestoMods and Modified. Built to be different.
For buyers who want a classic look, but with more power, drivability and attitude, this group will tick a lot of boxes. Standouts include a 1970 HT Monaro GTS that’s an ex-LMCT+ prize car with a Pavtek 434ci SBC and built T400 auto that’s selling with NO RESERVE. There’s also a 1964 LS-powered C2 Corvette roadster RestoMod, a 1967 Eleanor Mustang tribute (NO RESERVE), and a 1968 Mustang Fastback RestoMod.
