1991 Toyota Corolla GTi-16 Rare 2 Door import model currently on nsw club rego.(Non transferable). Offered is a highly desirable Gti-16 which is a high spec import model equipped with the legendary 4age engine and 5spd man transmission which runs and drive flawlessly (no noises, smoke or oil leaks), proper sports interior, power window, mirrors and Air conditioning.
Beautifully Restored over the last 4 years and finished in the factory Grey metallic paint colour which was done just over a year ago complete with all glass removed and inspected gutters all round and minor rust top right of windshield cut out and repaired correctly with new badges/ Decals installed. Had the old factory tints removed from the windows and replaced all around. 14" factory alloys were also restored (CNC skimmed faces, inserts painted and clear coated for that hi gloss finish and fitted with new tyres. Mechanically I had almost every part replaced or refurbished just to name a few..
Fuel Tank chemically cleaned and restored along with new Sending unit/Fuel pump/ filter installed. New stainless exhaust system front to back with dual tips. Front coilover suspension and factory rears rebuilt with lowered coils. New Brake rotors/ pads all around. New Brake Master cylinder/ system flush. New clutch kit/ slave cylinder/ valve.(Gear oil change also done). All engine/Gearbox mounts replaced. Timing Belt, Drive belts, Tensioner, Water pump, Crank seal/cam seals. Valve covers restored with new gaskets. Rebuilt Distributor. New Ignition wires. New radiator/ hoses/ thermostat/ coolant. -NOS head light protectors. (very rare item) - Interior/ carpets/ headlining/ Dash are all in original and outstanding condition, original leather stitched Gear knob redone.
Only after market items installed is a Period correct Momo Steer,custom made plush floor mats and a awesome sound system. (refer to pictures). I'm sure I am forgetting more as it was done over a period of 4 years but over all the car presents beautifully and is a absolute blast to drive and will be much appreciated by the right person and shouldn't be compared to your run of the mill 4 door SX's, Gti's. Hence if that's your budget this ain't the car for you my friend. Please no time waster and serious buyers only, I am in no hurry to sell and just thought if the right person comes along I can free up some space for other project car.
