Just arrived - This 2002 Holden Monaro V2 CV8 is the perfect future classic. After a 25-year hiatus, the Monaro name came back full throttle with the sleek, VX-based, V2 CV8. The modern rendition of the beloved Aussie classic sold very well off the showroom floor and is making its headway as a modern classic today. This CV8 is a two-owner car, sold new from City Holden. Powered by the 5.7L 'LS1' V8, it pumps out a sweet 225kW at 5200 revs. This is attached to a 6-speed 'T-56' manual transmission, and many modern upgrades like traction control, anti-lock braking, 'FE2' sports suspension and a limited-slip differential. The black leather interior demonstrates power windows, power seats, cruise control, air conditioning, and a 10-disc cassette radio with a premium sound system. Finished in Phantom Black, the CV8 sits nicely on a set of 18`` wheels and is in good condition for the age of the vehicle. The owner has added a spoiler and tint, which gives it an even sportier look, but it is otherwise all stock. Complete with books and history, this is a lovely example of a future classic.
